Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how entelera.com (“Entelera”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit the website. Entelera is an energy analysis publication run by Aashish Arya, based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. If you have any questions, email team@entelera.com.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Aashish Arya, who operates entelera.com, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Entelera is not yet a registered company; this policy will be updated when it is.

2. What we collect

We collect as little as possible. You do not need an account to read anything on the site.

  • Usage data: when you visit, our analytics tool (Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit) records information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the website that referred you, your approximate location (country or city), and your device, browser and operating system. 
  • Technical data: our hosting provider automatically logs your IP address, browser type and the time of your request, to keep the site secure and working. 
  • Information you send us: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. 
  • Advertising data: if ads are shown on the site, Google AdSense and its partners may collect data through cookies to show and measure ads (see section 4). 

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we do not sell your personal data.

3. How we use it

  • To run, secure and improve the website. 
  • To understand which articles readers find useful. 
  • To reply to your emails. 
  • To show advertising that helps keep the site free to read. 
  • To meet legal obligations. 

4. Cookies and advertising

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies that WordPress and our caching software need to deliver pages. 
  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics to measure traffic. 
  • Advertising cookies from Google AdSense, once ads are enabled. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. 

Where the law requires it (for example, for visitors in the EU, UK or EEA), we will ask for your consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the site:

  • Hostinger, our web host and content delivery network. 
  • Google, for analytics (Google Analytics and Site Kit) and advertising (Google AdSense). 

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. These providers may process data outside India, including in the United States and the EU, under their own safeguards.

6. Links and embedded content

Articles link to LinkedIn, official company and government websites, and other sources. If you click a share button or a link, the other website’s own privacy policy applies. Our share buttons are simple links and do not load tracking scripts from social networks until you click them.

7. How long we keep data

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Server logs are kept for as long as our host needs them for security, usually a few weeks. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email team@entelera.com. We will reply within 30 days.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults interested in the energy industry. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

10. Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption, and we keep WordPress and its plugins up to date. No website is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
